Summary: For this project, I used Maya to rig and animate a pre-modeled crane arm.
Details: For this assignment we were asked to rig and animate the pre-modeled crane arm, by having it interact with the ball we were given in-scene. For this rig, I created several different joints on the crane arm (illustrated by the pins on the arm), as well as creating a freezing/locking mechanic between the ball and the end of the arm itself. I decided to add weight to my ball at the end of the animation, decreasing its squash and stretch, as well as the size of its bounces off of the platform.
